2007- 2008  9th-12th Grade Programs

All programs are aligned with standards from Stanford Achievement, IB, National Science Standards, AHSGE, the new Alabama State Science Course of Study.   Programs provide extension and enhancement of regular classroom instruction.  Teachers may also use the center to plan and teach their own classes, or they may request other classes to be developed.

The choices listed below are built primarily around science topics but offer interdisciplinary opportunities as well.  Strong environmental extensions and tie-ins prevail in each lesson.  Most offerings can be tailored to the level of the grade or course requesting the program.
Details of each program listed below can be found at www.weec.dcs.edu/hsprograms.htm
